About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Therapy Team at King George Hospital as a Receptionist/Administrator. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to our Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Manage patient appointments, bookings, and records with accuracy and efficiency
- Support the Therapy clinicians with administrative tasks, including screening patients, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Good standard of general education, to G.C.S.E. level or equivalent
- Evidence of recent relevant and appropriate training and CPD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient IT skills, including experience with electronic patient records and other healthcare software
