About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEMH Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a vibrant and forward-thinking learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted intervention programs to designated students, working closely with the SENCO and Year Leaders to ensure effective support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a seamless learning experience for students.
  • Assist students in reintegrating into lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Develop and manage behaviour profiles to establish individual behaviour targets, monitoring progress and communicating with teachers.
  • Debrief students following incidents, providing a safe and supportive space for reflection and growth.
