Construction Project Coordinator

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will oversee all facets of the projects assigned to you, which includes scheduling, procurement, stakeholder engagement, cost oversight, risk assessment, and ensuring health and safety compliance on-site.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of the designated project, meeting timelines, budgetary limits, and client expectations.

Moreover, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive environment for your project team while reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project schedule
  • Select and appoint Sub-Contractors as directed by the Operations Director and Estimator
  • Oversee the procurement process for the project
  • Manage site labor effectively
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations
  • Ensure site Health & Safety management aligns with current regulations, including CDM and company policies, which involves conducting regular site inspections and reporting to management
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in interior project management
  • Strong and engaging management and communication skills
  • Proficient in IT, particularly with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Projects, and Excel)
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
  • Commercially aware with a solid understanding of construction program management
  • Ability to cultivate and implement a collaborative team culture within your project
  • Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a focus on minimizing risks through effective operational processes
  • Capacity to work independently without close supervision
Certifications:

  • Relevant project management qualifications
  • This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Competitive salary based on experience, approximately £55,000 per annum.
