About the Role

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our construction projects and ensure their successful delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site teams, including laborers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop and implement contingency plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external partners to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and the ability to ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
