About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our Engineering and Manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes and develop strategies to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Apply your expertise in continuous improvement and engineering to eliminate losses and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Coach and train employees to embed solutions into our processes and lead projects for the Production Department.
  • Utilize our resources to complete projects successfully and communicate project status to the teams and site.
  • Coach and upskill Shift Leaders and their teams in line with loss elimination data and promote a culture of effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Lead and organize production downtime planning with appropriate teams and monitor and analyze data to ensure KPIs are maintained.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software.
  • A commitment to safety and quality.
