We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our Engineering and Manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes through data collection and analysis.
  • Apply your knowledge and experience in continuous improvement and engineering to eliminate losses and create sustainable solutions.
  • Coach and train employees to embed solutions into our processes.
  • Lead and manage projects for the Production Department.
  • Utilize resources on site to complete projects successfully.
  • Communicate project status with teams and site.
  • Coach and upskill Shift Leaders and their teams in line with loss elimination data.
  • Promote and create a culture of effective cross-functional teamwork to improve plant performance.
  • Lead and organize production downtime planning with appropriate teams.
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure KPIs are maintained.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software.
