About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and friendly conveyancing team. As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing residential property transactions, providing exceptional client care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
  • Open new files, perform client due diligence, and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction, providing regular updates and answering queries.
  • Draft standard correspondence, prepare legal documents, and complete forms such as Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be proficient in using conveyancing software and have a good understanding of property law and regulations.
