We are currently working with a world leader in home textiles, supplying major retailers in the UK and across the globe. Due to their ever-expanding growth, this client has a new opportunity for a Product Development Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and demonstrate a good understanding of market trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to feed back to factories, including seasonal and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with factories and design teams to create new product ideas.
- Organize factory calls and tours to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
- Benchmark products and services to ensure competitiveness.
- Compile and analyze cost information, including prices, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
- Work closely with factories and category assistants to develop and refine products.
- Conduct cross-costing analysis to optimize product pricing.
- Provide support and assistance with factory-related issues.
Requirements for Success:
In addition to the below, the successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in Product Development, preferably within a retailer or importer environment.
