Job Title: Commercial Law Support Specialist

About Brave: Brave is a specialist business legal practice engaged by clients ranging from small owner-managed businesses to multi-national blue-chip organisations.

The Role: As a Commercial Law Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the legal team by performing tasks that require a deeper understanding of legal procedures, research, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Document Preparation and Management: You will be responsible for preparing and managing legal documents, ensuring they adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conducting Legal Research: You will conduct research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles to support the legal team in case preparation.
  • Gathering Information: You will gather information from legal databases and other sources to support the legal team in case preparation.
  • Supporting Day-to-Day Operations: You will support the day-to-day operations of the legal office, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings.
  • Ensuring Compliance: You will ensure that all legal practices and documentation adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Discovery Process: You will help with the discovery process by organising and reviewing documents and preparing them for review.

Requirements:

  • Qualifying Law Degree: You must have a qualifying law degree.
  • Demonstrable Understanding of the Law: You must have a demonstrable understanding of the law books.
  • Hardworking: You must be hardworking.
  • Rapport Building: You must be able to build rapport with ease.
