About the Role
Urban Design Group is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Urban Designer to join our dynamic team in England South Region. As part of our Design and Engineering division, you will play a crucial role in shaping vibrant and sustainable urban environments.
In this senior position, you will collaborate with Urban Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality designs that support the successful implementation of Sustrans' programs and projects. Your responsibilities will encompass quality assurance, project management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building with local authorities, clients, and funding bodies.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in urban design, possessing a strong understanding of community engagement and public consultation processes. Your expertise should encompass project management, risk assessment, budgetary control, and the production of technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be representing Urban Design Group at meetings and liaising with diverse stakeholders. A commitment to health and safety legislation and practice, including CDM regulations, is also required.
