We are in search of a Senior Risk Professional to collaborate with the Director of Project Controls and our expanding team of risk experts. This role involves developing and executing our comprehensive risk management services across our diverse capital program portfolio. The position presents an opportunity to engage with a growing array of key Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure clients.

The role encompasses risk management opportunities at pivotal phases of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to design implementation and assurance, all supported by advanced risk modeling techniques. You will play a crucial role in enhancing Gleeds' Risk Management offerings, both internally and externally, alongside our diverse and inclusive risk team.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively gather and analyze risk information across projects to swiftly address challenges and variances. Challenge conventional risk management practices and contribute innovative ideas to shape the future of Gleeds' risk management strategies, including aspects like Carbon/Net Zero, Sustainability, TCFD, Social Value, Cybersecurity, and Customer Experience. Lead and support the execution of risk management initiatives on major projects and programs. Conduct quantitative risk assessments (integrated, cost, and schedule) to guide business cases, investment choices, and project performance evaluations. Confidently analyze and present key risk insights to clients, including QRA model outputs and recommendations for informed decision-making. Facilitate risk workshops to identify, assess, and prioritize threats, opportunities, and mitigation strategies, including What-If and Scenario Analysis. Familiarity with Risk, Project Controls/PMO, and PPP Delivery Maturity Assessments, understanding best practices.

Candidate Profile:

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in Risk Management within UK Projects, particularly in the Infrastructure Sector. Relevant degree in Risk Management or recognized qualifications from IRM or APM. A strong passion for infrastructure, sustainability, and delivering exceptional outcomes. A proactive and constructive mindset to challenge norms and develop innovative working methods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and clients.
