We are seeking a Senior Risk Professional to collaborate with the Director of Project Controls and our expanding team of risk experts. This role will focus on developing and executing our integrated risk management services across our diverse capital program portfolio. The position offers the chance to engage with key Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure clients.

The successful candidate will engage with clients at pivotal phases of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to design implementation and assurance, supported by advanced risk modeling techniques. You will play a crucial role in enhancing Gleeds' Risk Management capabilities, both internally and externally, alongside our diverse risk team.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively gather and analyze risk information across projects to effectively address challenges and variances. Innovate traditional risk management practices and contribute insights to shape future approaches, including considerations for Carbon/Net Zero, Sustainability, TCFD, Social Value, Cybersecurity, and Customer Experience. Lead and support the execution of risk management initiatives on major projects and programs. Conduct comprehensive quantitative risk assessments to inform business cases and enhance project performance. Present key risk findings to clients, including QRA model outputs and recommendations for informed decision-making. Facilitate risk workshops to identify, assess, and prioritize threats, opportunities, and mitigation strategies. Understand Risk, Project Controls/PMO, and PPP Delivery Maturity Assessments and their benchmarks.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated experience in Risk Management within the UK, preferably in the Infrastructure sector. Relevant degree or qualifications in Risk Management from recognized institutions. A strong passion for infrastructure and sustainability. A proactive and innovative mindset to challenge norms and improve processes. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients.
