Key Responsibilities- Referral Management: Assess and process referrals for children and young individuals, ensuring that their specific needs and risks are thoroughly evaluated to identify appropriate family matches.
- Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with Regional Branches, Local Authorities, and Foster Parents to coordinate the complete placement process.
- Growth Facilitation: Contribute to the expansion of the division by identifying potential matches based on incoming referrals, ensuring that the needs of children and young people are met.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all matching processes adhere to regulatory standards and align with the service requirements as outlined in the organizational Statement of Purpose.
- Dynamic Service Delivery: Work within a diverse and innovative fostering division that is committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and their foster families.
- Internal Coordination: Review and respond to requests for the internal relocation of children, collaborating with supervising social workers and foster parents for respite and placement changes.
- Liaison Duties: Engage with Local Authorities regarding suitable families and available placements, ensuring that all relevant details are documented accurately.
- Query Management: Address inquiries from Foster Families and Local Authorities, ensuring that all communications are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Policy Adherence: Operate in accordance with divisional policies and procedures, upholding the organization’s values and commitment to child protection.
- Diversity Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to equalities and diversity in all aspects of the role.
