Consultant General Surgeon with Expertise in Colorectal Surgery

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking to appoint three Consultant Colorectal Surgeons with a subspecialty interest to complement the department. The successful applicants will join a general surgical department which includes Colorectal, Upper-GI, Breast and Vascular Services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide colorectal and general surgical services in theatre, outpatient and ward settings.
- Contribute to both the general surgery emergency rota and the colorectal weekend and Bank Holiday rotas.
- Participate in delivering services on both New Cross Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital sites.
- GMC Specialist Registration or within 6 months.
- FRCS qualification.
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in General Surgery.
- Demonstrable training and expertise in sub-specialty area.
