Children and Young People's Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse, Children's Nurse or Mental Health Nurse to join our secure healthcare team at Oakhill Secure Training Centre (STC).
About the Role:- Maintain a caseload of patients with a diagnosed Learning Disability or ASD, completing initial assessments, care planning, and follow-up procedures.
- Participate in processes to assist patients at risk of self-harm/suicide, in line with NICE Guidance.
- Attend monthly supervision and complete yearly EDR to assess targets, progression, and learning objectives.
- Provide awareness training and advice for staff on the care of patients with a Learning Disability.
- Attend Integrated Mental Health Team Referrals meetings to ensure an integrated approach is maintained when discussing at-risk patients.
