We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our Water Quality & Environment department as a senior technical expert within the EDM Compliance and Reporting team.

The role holder will be required to analyze, understand, and interpret complex regulatory frameworks, translating them into actionable guidelines ready for practical application by operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering excellent insight into EDM data, presenting it to the business, and turning it into practical application and influencing the business to drive and deliver opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining effective and successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, and OFWAT.
  • Benchmarking with the wider water industry to identify and implement best practices and use experience and knowledge to influence future regulation.

We're looking for someone with experience of external assurance and regulatory reporting, including audit attendance, and the ability to work with large datasets and manipulate data from various sources to produce insight.
