**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our EDM Compliance and Reporting team as a senior technical expert. The role holder will be required to analyze and understand complex regulatory frameworks, translating them into actionable guidelines for operational teams. They will also be skilled in understanding and manipulating large datasets from various sources to identify insights, trends, opportunities, and risks to compliance and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Delivering excellent insight into EDM data and turning it into practical application to drive business opportunities
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, and OFWAT
* Benchmarking with the wider water industry to identify and implement best practices and influence future regulation

**Requirements**

* Experience of external assurance and regulatory reporting, including audit attendance
* Excellent ability to translate insight into compliance improvement opportunities and deliver end-to-end improvements
* Good technical knowledge of waste processes (Networks and/or Recycling) and experience working in operational and regulatory environments
* Ability to work with large datasets and manipulate data from various sources to produce insights
