At Stark Group, we are seeking an experienced Account Receivables Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the accounts receivable team and ensuring the timely and effective delivery of day-to-day billing and credit control functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Define targets and measure individual team member performance against them.
- Work proactively with the financial leadership to ensure finance department requirements are achieved.
- Take ownership of AR processes and ensure they are followed and amended as needed.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial accounts and forecasts to agreed timescales.
- Plan, organize, and manage the operations and activities of the Accounts Receivable and Billing function.
- Gain a deep understanding of current billing processes and suggest improvements.
- Oversee and monitor team performance through quality control checks.
- Oversee reporting to ensure key insights are clear and policies are followed.
- Analyze KPIs and identify trends to measure overall financial performance.
- Plan and execute external audit activities to meet deadlines.
- Optimize cash collection by tracking past due accounts and recommending next steps.
- Own Accounts Receivable budget and forecast, including Non-Cash Working Capital reporting.
- Day-to-day management, coaching, and motivation of the team.
- Create and implement employee development plans.
- Ensure training needs are identified, communicated, and followed up.
- Implement standardized Stark AR processes at new locations.
- Resolve customer queries and implement improvements.
- Participate in regular training and learning activities.
- Adhere to all Stark policies, procedures, and working practices.
