We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Paediatrics team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering innovative services for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our new ASD pathway, working closely with colleagues to design and implement effective assessment and intervention strategies. You will also provide individual assessment, formulation, and brief intervention to a wide range of children and young people, and link up with other services to enhance their journey.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working flexibly and creatively. You will have the opportunity to develop and shape the role of psychology within our team, working closely with the Team Manager, Service Manager, and Clinical Director to develop informed care pathways.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a professional Doctorate in Applied Psychology, or a combination of MSc and PG Diploma level additional training, and HCPC registration. You will also have experience of working as a clinical specialist under supervision in Children's Services, and experience of proposing and implementing service development projects within your own service area.
