About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality trauma-informed care and treatment to individuals in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the delivery of a highly specialist psychology and psychotherapy service to individuals in a secure setting.
  • Provide expert clinical input and supervision to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service development projects that impact beyond the service area.
  • Supervise and support assistant and trainee psychologists in their professional development.
Requirements
  • Entry-level qualification in Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology, with additional training in a specialized area of psychological practice.
  • Completed training course in clinical supervision and registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Post-qualification experience in a forensic mental health, criminal justice, or specialist men's service, with expertise in clinical risk management.
  • Experience of providing teaching and training to psychologists or other professional groups.
