About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Design Engineer to join our dynamic New Product Development team in London. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of innovative kitchen appliances for the SharkNinja brand.

As a Senior Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and collaborative spirit to deliver exceptional product solutions throughout the entire design cycle. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conceptualization & Design: Contribute to the development of novel concepts and technologies for our future product line, ensuring they are both elegant and robust.
  • Technical Expertise: Define clear and practical solutions that meet the functional requirements of each product, while considering manufacturing feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Design Validation: Conduct independent and collaborative design studies to address technical challenges and consumer needs throughout the product development process.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Take ownership of designs, driving them from conception through CAD modeling, visualization, prototyping, and rigorous testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine designs for optimal performance, manufacturability, quality, and value for our customers.
  • Global Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our U.S. and China-based Product Development teams to ensure a smooth transition from concept to production.

Your Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in a mechanical/product design environment within the consumer goods industry, preferably in household appliances.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant CAD software.
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional product experiences.
