Architectural Technician Job Opportunity

Hunter Dunning Recruitment is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join a multidisciplinary team at an employee-owned firm in Sevenoaks. This role offers a unique chance to work on a variety of projects, including residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and leisure.

This employee-owned practice offers a range of services, including Architectural, building surveying, and project management. With two offices and over twenty members of staff, they are now seeking an Architectural Technician to join their residential team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce technical drawing packages
  • Design presentation materials, such as boards and layouts
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant laws
  • Assess risks and create health and safety plans according to regulations
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and issue instructions as needed
  • Organise drawings properly and back up computer files monthly
  • Measure existing buildings on-site as required for projects

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of practice experience
  • Skilled in the use of Auto-CAD
  • Current knowledge of UK regulations
  • Experience in UK-based residential projects

What You Can Expect:

  • Competitive salary range: £30,000 - £35,000
