We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team in the North. As a key member of our Intensive Housing Management service, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our tenants across Bradford, North Yorkshire, and Darlington.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct housing assessments and sign up new tenancy agreements.
  2. Provide support and guidance to tenants on tenancy and housing management policies.
  3. Assist with day-to-day domestic maintenance and safety of tenants' homes.
  4. Work with tenants who require additional support and care.
  5. Prioritize and manage your workload, time, and travel effectively.
  6. Utilize good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel.
Desirable Skills
  1. Chartered Institute of Housing National Practitioner to level 3 or willingness to attain.
  2. Experience in the Social Housing Sector and delivery of core housing services and support.
  3. Knowledge of housing benefits and welfare reform in a supported housing environment.
  4. Understanding of housing law and its application within social housing.
  5. Understanding of repairs management, including health and safety, fire safety, and other property standard legislation.
