About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estates Surveyor to join our team at GAP Group LTD. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our commercial property portfolio, including facilities management, budgeting, service charges, utilities, regulation, health and safety, security, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of mainly industrial properties, plus two office buildings, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee utilities management, including regular payments, issues arising, and liaison with procurement and finance teams.
  • Coordinate business rates management with professional advisors and finance teams.
  • Liaise with the finance team on processing contractor's and supplier's invoices and accounts, ensuring costs are properly allocated within the business.
  • Work closely with the Head of Estates on processing management functions created by acquisitions, disposals, and conversions.
  • Set up and maintain regular depot maintenance records, liaising with maintenance contractors for asbestos, electrical, heating, fire, intruder, and door and shutter maintenance and repair.
  • Manage in-house facilities and building management systems for three offices.
  • Establish and maintain contracts for the smooth running of each property.
  • Liaise with the in-house Safety, Risk & Compliance Team to coordinate all associated items of legal compliance related to the physical aspect of each property.
