Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Little Lambs Longlevens. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring that we provide a high-quality education and care to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and support our team of staff to ensure that we meet all legal and statutory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards within the nursery team and ensure that our children receive the best possible care and education.
  • Special Educational Needs: Take on the role of Special Educational Needs Coordinator, providing guidance and support to our staff.
  • Team Development: Work with our Senior Nursery Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve the nursery's performance and achieve our goals.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A full and relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and at least 5 years' experience working in a nursery environment.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role in the childcare sector.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our team.
