Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Support Worker to join our team in Fort William, supporting a young man with life-changing injuries to live independently in his own home. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support, enabling our service user to maintain his independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our service user, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility
  • Support our service user to maintain his independence and engage in activities that promote his physical and emotional well-being
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our service user, his family, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes the dignity and respect of our service user
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a community setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
