Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management: Manage, document, and handle financial and project-related transactions with precision and accuracy.
  • Cost Analysis and Reporting: Analyze project expenses and generate monthly cost reports, including commentary on any discrepancies, to ensure timely and effective decision-making.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site visits for inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders in the construction and professional team, including clients, to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
  • Payment Applications: Assess completed work and manage payment applications to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Commercial Performance Measurement: Utilize systems and processes to effectively measure commercial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Projections: Assist in generating accurate, up-to-date monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and projections of final outcomes to inform business decisions.
  • Meetings and Support: Participate in meetings on-site or at other locations with Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other relevant parties as needed, and provide administrative support to the Commercial and Sales teams.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a basic understanding of the Quantity Surveyor role, strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in the construction industry. No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive training and development opportunities, including the possibility of pursuing a university degree with sponsorship.
