Trainee Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Are you looking to kickstart your Quantity Surveying career in a renowned main contractor? We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join our commercial department in Ipswich.

This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience and thorough training in a close-knit team. You will work on multiple projects, predominantly office-based, and will be enrolled on external training to develop your skills.

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost control of projects from project award through to final accounts. You will work under the guidance of a senior and will have the opportunity to progress and take on more responsibility as you learn the ropes.

We are looking for an analytical and critical thinker with a good understanding of Quantity Surveying and Construction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trainee / Graduate Quantity Surveyor
  • Full hands-on training with mentorship from a Senior
  • Working on Commercial and Residential projects from concept through to completion
  • Overseeing the cost control of projects gaining hands-on experience with more responsibility and progression as you learn the ropes.
