Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Apprentice to join our team at Bosch. As an IT Support Apprentice, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring that their IT needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing IT consulting and customer support for mobile devices, computer desktops, laptops, and tablets.
  • Supporting field service solutions, applications, and hardware.
  • Supporting on-site AV solutions and systems.
  • User administration and customer support solutions.
  • Participating in customer support drop-in sessions.
  • Installing and setting up hardware and software.
  • Providing Office 365 Administration and support.
  • Resolving customers' IT problems via telephone, remote control, or in person.
  • Maintaining asset register records.
  • Assisting in the roll-out of new IT procedures.
  • Prioritizing daily and other workload to ensure that any outstanding issues are resolved or escalated.
  • Taking agreed responsibility for specified areas of IT Support functions and technical issues as agreed, including the introduction of new technologies into the department and the Bosch Group.
  • Creating, maintaining, and participating in the departmental knowledge base and documentation process.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this apprenticeship, you must:

  • Be a UK resident and live in England for at least 50% of the year.
  • Have lived in the EU or the UK for the previous 3 years continuously.
Additional Information

This is a 22-month contract starting from Summer 2024. You will be required to enrol in the 'Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship' and will be 80% working and 20% studying. Please note that eligibility criteria apply to apprenticeship roles, and you must meet the requirements to apply.
