About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and report on health and safety practices.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures to minimize hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents and near misses.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
  • Member of IOSH.
  • Good knowledge of H & S Legislation.
  • Previous experience in a construction health and safety position.
