Key Responsibilities

Project Development and Oversight:

  • Create detailed project plans, encompassing timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address project risks while formulating mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including researchers, technicians, and administrative personnel.
  • Encourage effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Offer guidance, support, and constructive feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

Resource Allocation:

  • Effectively allocate and manage resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial responsibility.
  • Procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for project implementation.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting notes, and progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports as necessary.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of scientific data.
  • Conduct regular project evaluations and audits to assess progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Update and maintain internal documentation, including uploading relevant information and documents to shared folders following established procedures.
  • Initiate change control requests, ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures and internal protocols.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a scientific discipline combined with a professional qualification in project management or equivalent experience utilizing established project management methodologies.
  • Experience in project management within a pharmaceutical context, covering both clinical and non-clinical workstreams; experience in biologic product development is highly desirable.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
