Position Summary: This is a part-time opportunity requiring 22.2 hours of work per week, spread across three negotiable days. The position is office-based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and input vetting data efficiently.
- Assess results within the Vetting Unit to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Receive and validate vetting requests, ensuring quality assurance of applications.
- Identify and address discrepancies in submitted information, rejecting unauthorized applications to maintain compliance.
- Align inquiries with the necessary vetting levels to uncover relevant criminal records, intelligence, and other pertinent information.
- Apply the Vetting Code of Practice and associated documentation to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Conduct checks on relevant databases to identify any connections to extremist groups.
Qualifications:
- Educated to Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) or possess equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels.
