Quality Assurance Specialist

Michael Page is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the development and maintenance of company procedures and systems in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production, maintenance, and development of company quality procedures and systems.
- Conduct compliance audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Undertake new product introduction work, including initial sample report documentation and production part approval process documentation.
- Develop and maintain control plans, calibration and measurement compliance, and process FMEA's.
- Perform final inspection audits and investigate issues, preparing corrective action reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement problem-solving activities.
- Compile reject, returns, and scrap reports.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters.
Requirements:
- Qualification in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience working in compliance with ISO 9001, with IATF 16949 experience advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001/45001 beneficial.
- Background in fast-paced or heavy engineering environments.
