Housekeeping Professional

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team based out of the Cheshire Police Headquarters. This role is subject to Police Vetting.
Available Shift Pattern:
Working 30 Hours per week.
8.00am - 2.00pm - Monday - Friday.
Pay: £11.59 per Hour.

Your MissionKey responsibilities include:
- Cleaning in accordance with the specification for the premises.
- Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings.
- Cleaning floors, walls, partitions, and internal woodwork as appropriate.
- Cleaning kitchen/catering areas.
- Cleaning toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas.
- Cleaning equipment after use.
- Undertaking special cleaning programmes during designated periods.
- Collecting and disposing of waste.
- Cleaning and maintaining waste bins.
- Creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, and productive working environment.
- Maintaining records as requested.
- Refilling and replacing consumables.
- Reporting faulty equipment and other maintenance requirements to the appropriate person.
- Maintaining the security of premises by securing entrances/exits as appropriate and reporting potential security breaches.
- Ensuring lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
- Promoting and ensuring the health and safety of staff and visitors at all times.
- Monitoring and managing stock and supplies, cataloguing as required.
- Maintenance of specialist equipment, checking for quality/safety, and reporting other damages/needs.
- Ensuring compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
- Demonstrating and assisting others in the safe and effective use of specialist equipment/materials.

- Relevant experience of cleaning.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions.
- Awareness of health and hygiene procedures.
- Willingness to participate in development and training opportunities.
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
