Development Underwriter Opportunity

The Travelers Companies, Inc. is a leading property casualty insurer with a rich history of innovation and collaboration. We are currently seeking a skilled Development Underwriter to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.

  • Focus on new business development in the Technology, Manufacturing, and Healthcare sectors
  • Underwrite risks in Property, Business Interruption, Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber
  • Build and enhance relationships with brokers, with experience in the London Market preferred
  • Eligible for flexible hybrid work arrangements
  • Opportunity for a competitive new joiner bonus
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess risk and maximize business growth and profitability
  • Maintain quality of business and profitability within underwriting authority
  • Develop broker relationships and execute sales plans
  • Participate in regional underwriting and sales meetings
  • Provide superior customer service standards
Requirements:
  • Degree education preferred
  • ACII qualification preferred
  • Experience in Property and Casualty underwriting
  • Full and valid driving license
