Development Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Development Underwriter with expertise in Professional Indemnity to join our London regional team.
Key Responsibilities- Utilise your expertise to underwrite larger, more complex cases consistently and profitably, driving business growth and revenue.
- Lead underwriting and sales visits to larger clients and prospects, building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Develop effective relationships with brokers to contribute to new business targets and stay informed about the competitive landscape and market trends.
- Share your knowledge and support a team of underwriters, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in a broker-facing underwriting role, with a strong understanding of the insurance market and industry.
- Excellent relationship management and sales skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers.
