Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse to join our team in a leading mental health hospital. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and supervision to the ward team, implementing best practice, and participating in service development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the ward team
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Support the development of the ward team and contribute to the achievement of service goals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in CAMHS
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £44,000 - £48,000 per annum DOE

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 22:00PM - 6:30AM (20% of hourly rate)
  • Saturday - All Day (20% of hourly rate)
  • Sunday - All Day (50% hourly rate)
  • Bank holidays - All Day (50% hourly rate)
