About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the young people in our care, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.
  • Safeguard the young people in our care, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Promote the education and independence of our young people, helping them to develop essential life skills.
  • Undertake relevant training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Accurately record incidents and report writing, maintaining high standards of documentation.
  • Support your team, working collaboratively to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people.

Requirements
  • You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally, you have experience supporting children. If not, you must have the passion for working with children.
  • Holding an L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People would be desirable but not essential – we are happy to support you through your L3, L4, or L5 qualification.
  • Please note all successful applicants are required to undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure or provide evidence that they are on the update service.
