Job Title: Senior Scheduler

Job Overview:

The Senior Scheduler will play a key role in driving project success through effective planning, monitoring, and control. This position requires coordination with various teams and departments to ensure timely project delivery, with a strong emphasis on risk mitigation, change management, and preparing extension of time claims when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed schedules for multiple projects across the group, ensuring all phases are accounted for.
  • Efficiently plan and allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization of resources to avoid conflicts between concurrent projects.
  • Identify and manage the critical path for each project, ensuring key deliverables, milestones, and deadlines are met.
  • Track and monitor progress on multiple projects, ensuring any delays or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, project leads, and head of departments across the Group to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding project schedules and milestones.
  • Apply earned value analysis to track performance on multiple projects, providing insight into cost and schedule variances.
  • Prepare and submit extension of time claims for projects impacted by unforeseen delays or changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling, resource loading, and leveling.
