About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Newbury Manor School, a specialist school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized care to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering educational activities and supporting students with their work
  • Provide individualized care and support to students with ASD, including managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive relationships
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, secure, and predictable environment for students to learn and grow
