Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client, a leading company in the industry, based in the UK. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement activities to achieve operational results and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Work with the site technical team to implement lean manufacturing processes and improve productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Lead and motivate the manufacturing team to achieve business and customer targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement change.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with factory audits, GMP, and BRC.
