Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding, fabrication, and installation both in the workshop and on-site.
  • Construct, weld, and assemble products in accordance with the design specifications provided by clients.
  • Accurately measure all materials in line with design requirements.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of production, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete necessary documentation to adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for potential improvements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all machinery, reporting any issues to management.
  • Commit to minimizing costs and reducing material waste.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to explore continuous improvement opportunities within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in TIG welding.
  • Experience with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrication.
  • Proficient in using hand and industrial tools.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • Willingness to work overtime and adapt to varying hours and locations.
  • Demonstrated success in teamwork.
  • Open to ongoing training and professional development.
  • Proactive in enhancing personal and organizational growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a food production setting.
  • CSCS Green/Blue Card.
  • Relevant welding certifications.
  • Forklift license.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Gantry crane operation training.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
