About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred to the Pain Clinic, identifying their physical and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of chronic pain.
  • Teach and train patients, family members, and healthcare professionals on pain management techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience working with patients with long-term conditions, particularly chronic pain.
  • Strong knowledge of pain management principles, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
