Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Opportunity

The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join their Pain Clinic team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Pain Medicine Consultants, a Clinical Psychologist, and a Specialist Nursing team to deliver high-quality care to adults with chronic pain.

This Band 7 post offers the opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills in a supportive and specialized environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients referred to the Multidisciplinary Team, providing individual treatment sessions, and teaching and training as part of the team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients referred to the Pain Clinic
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic pain
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver group pain management therapy
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Physiotherapy and HPCP registration
  • Wide range of continuing professional development activities undertaken
  • MCSP registration
Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience working with patients with long-term conditions
  • Experience delivering individual and group therapy
  • Experience with different exercise methods, such as yoga and Pilates
  • Experience teaching and training
  • Experience working with mental health conditions
