Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Take full ownership of project execution, from the initial quotation phase through to commissioning, handover, and project closure.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure optimal financial performance and outcomes for the project, safeguarding the interests of our client.
  • Team Organization: Structure the project team effectively, providing robust leadership to ensure project success.
  • Culture of Ownership: Foster a strong sense of accountability within the project team to achieve project objectives.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines, closely monitoring progress against man-hour estimates and margin targets.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Communicate project developments to various stakeholders, ensuring completion aligns with scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • On-Site Engagement: Participate in client meetings to facilitate the commissioning of supplied equipment and ensure all KPIs are met.
  • Change Management: Oversee claim management and change order processes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Lessons Learned: Document and assess lessons learned throughout the project.
  • Procurement Planning: Collaborate with the supply chain to create procurement plans that align with project schedules, managing the RFQ process for installation and contractor selection.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of project engineers, providing guidance without direct line reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project roles.
  • Proficient in managing legal and contractual issues.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Experience in chemical, dairy, food, or beverage projects is highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in project management, equipped to drive success in complex engineering projects.
