As part of the UK/IE Field Engineering team, you will oversee dynamic deployment initiatives, including new project launches, automated systems, reconfiguration of material handling equipment, and enhancements to existing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee intricate projects focused on the implementation of engineering solutions within AMZL delivery centers.
- Direct initiatives related to new launches, facility upgrades, and operational enhancements.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial concept through to final execution.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver effective solutions.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement efforts.
A Day in the Life:
Strategically plan and manage the execution of engineering projects across AMZL delivery centers in the UK/IE and EU regions.
Work collaboratively across departments, oversee project deployment, manage resources effectively, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
About the Team:
The UK/IE Field Engineering team comprises a diverse group of professionals committed to developing sophisticated solutions throughout the AMZL network. We prioritize work-life balance and support career advancement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record as a Project Manager for complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to engage with various stakeholders and suppliers.
- Experience with KPI reporting and Six Sigma methodologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in an automated logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Capability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
