Senior Project Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Manager to join our UK/IE Field Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to the deployment of engineering solutions in our delivery stations across the UK/IE Amazon Logistics (AMZL) network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage highly complex concurrent projects, including new launches, automated solutions, and material handling equipment re-layouts.
- Owning a program or portfolio of projects related to launches or retrofits of different technology types.
- Leading the project/program lifecycle from concept and budgeting creation to handover at completion.
- Handling tactical phases of projects/programs, including resource allocation, capex, and timelines.
- Interacting with senior-level management across different functions to provide trade-off solutions.
- Identifying inefficiencies and leading improvements within the allocated country or at the European level.
You will plan and manage the execution of engineering projects in AMZL delivery stations, primarily across the UK/IE or EU if required. Your day may include cross-functional engagement, site visits, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination.
About the TeamOur UK/IE Field Engineering team is a talented and diverse group of project and program managers who drive coordination of all activities required to safely build complex solutions across the AMZL network. Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Working experience in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in commissioning automated machinery and entire systems.
- Working experience as a Project Manager of multiple complex projects or as a Program manager.
- Proficiency in engineering design tools, planning and analysis tools, and KPI reporting tools.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders to deliver projects/programs.
