Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of Human Rights & Sustainability to lead our EMEA operations. This pivotal role can be based in either London or Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the Human Rights and Sustainability team across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
  • Utilize expertise in sustainability and labor/human rights to advise clients effectively.
  • Focus on client prospecting and manage consultancy projects, including training, capacity-building, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals and reports for consulting projects with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate human rights and sustainability advice into client engagements.
  • Establish strong client relationships through exceptional project delivery.
  • Contribute to global business development and regional marketing initiatives.
Team Leadership

Manage and nurture a team of specialists in human rights and sustainability located in our London and Dubai offices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience advising businesses on sustainability and human rights issues, including modern slavery and labor conditions.
  • A willingness to travel for short assignments within the EMEA region.
  • Experience in developing human rights policies, conducting due diligence, and delivering impact assessments.
  • A proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Fluency in languages relevant to the EMEA region.
