Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Inclusive Projects Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and equality in sports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver inclusive football programs for children and adults with disabilities
  • Work with the National and County FA's to identify talented players with a disability and support their progression into the FA's Talent Pathway
  • Recruit and train qualified coaches to deliver inclusive programs
  • Retain and grow participation in existing programs, including Down Syndrome, Para, and Mental Health and Wellbeing sessions
  • Commit to ongoing personal development and training
  • Ensure all activities are delivered to the highest standards, adhering to the Trust's Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and Child Protection policies
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 1 coaching qualification in football
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle
  • In-date DBS, Safeguarding, and First Aid qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with participants with disabilities
  • Ability to work with adults and young people, including those with challenging behavior, social disadvantages, and special needs
