Tarmac Trading Limited, a leading land and mineral owner, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Land Manager to join its Land and Mineral Resources team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for promoting mineral and industrial opportunities and securing planning permissions for the development of strategic land and mineral assets.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with previous experience in property management and strategic land processes. You will be able to:
- Develop and implement planning strategies to promote strategic land assets and achieve local plan allocations and/or planning consents.
- Engage with local planning authorities and other stakeholders to discuss development proposals and negotiate planning permissions.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, and other stakeholders to identify new land opportunities and acquire sites under option.
- Provide expert advice to the operational business on planning and development matters, including the management of extant planning permissions.
- Manage external consultant teams and monitor budgets to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Assist in the identification of new land opportunities and assist in acquiring sites under option.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a Chartered or actively seeking to achieve chartered status through MRICS or MRTPI professional bodies. You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with previous experience in property management and strategic land processes.
